The Oklahoma City Thunder and forward Patrick Patterson have reportedly agreed to a buyout, making him a free agent. Once he clears waivers, Patterson intends to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Patterson, 30, is still a valuable bench player who does a lot of little things right. Last season, he appeared in 63 games for the Thunder, averaging 3.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 steals per game.
Adding him to an already stacked roster would give the Clippers — a team that is favored to win it all in 2020 — even more depth and experience.
