The New York Jets continue to take hits in the defensive front seven.
Less than a week after linebacker Avery Williamson suffered a season-ending torn ACL, fellow starter Brandon Copeland has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating its PED policy.
This is yet another blow for a Jets defense that many expected to take the next step in 2019.
Copeland, 28, was expected to be New York’s starting outside linebacker this season after recording 14 quarterback hits and five sacks in 16 games (10 starts) last year.
