Jadeveon Clowney has reportedly been “very unhappy” with agent Bus Cook, and according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network that has led to him firing Cook.
Clowney cannot get a new contract from any team at this time. Whether he plays for the Houston Texans or is traded to another team, he’ll play out the season on his franchise tag, worth roughly $16 million.
If Clowney is going to play in Week 1, then he needs to sign his tag and report one week in advance of Houston’s season opener against the New Orleans Saints.
