New Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt will be back on the practice field here soon. The free-agent signing missed the first eight practices of training camp with a groin injury.
According to this report, Hunt has now been cleared to practice.
Hunt, 23, will miss the first eight games of the regular season after being suspended by the NFL stemming from a domestic altercation. But the team wants to see him in a new offense before said suspension takes hold.
The former third-round pick led the NFL with 1,327 yards as a rookie for the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2017. He had tallied 1,202 total yards in 11 games for Kansas City prior to the team releasing him following said off-field incident.
