The Boston Celtics made out like bandits when they signed veteran center Enes Kanter to a two-year deal worth less than $10 million this week.
Apparently Nick Wright of Fox Sports didn’t agree. He put Boston on blast for acquiring Kanter and Kemba Walker to replace the All-Star core of Kyrie Irving and Al Horford.
Kanter was having none of the criticism. Check out him going after Wright on social media. It’s amazing stuff. Really.
Wright might be known for his hot takes, but going after his rug is next-level stuff from Kanter right there.
Kanter, 27, might leave a lot to be desired on defense. But he’s a force on the other end of the court. The former lottery pick averaged 13.7 points and 9.8 rebounds while shooting 55 percent from the field last season.
Walker? All he did was earn All-NBA team honors. For most, Boston did a great job this offseason. Wright obviously disagrees.
