Antonio Brown furniture-throwing lawsuit settlement included paying for college tuition

Antonio Brown resolved a lawsuit in April with Ophir Sternberg, who had sued the NFL star over an incident in which he was accused of throwing furniture at a Florida apartment complex.

Sternberg accused Brown of nearly crushing his young son (22 months old at the time) with the furniture he allegedly threw off his balcony.

TMZ Sports obtained court documents that show Brown agreed to pay college tuition for the minor as part of the settlement: “The net proceeds to the minor will be invested into Florida Prepaid College for the minor’s sole benefit,” the documents read.

It’s not known exactly how much Brown is paying into this college fund, but TMZ Sports reports “both sides are happy with the agreement.”

In addition to the college fund, Brown is giving an undetermined amount of money to an unnamed charity as part of the settlement.
