Former Duke star Zion Williamson will be in Chicago with family members Tuesday night when the NBA Draft Lottery takes place, Marc Stein of the New York Times reported on Monday.
Overwhelming expected to be the first overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, Williamson will enter the NBA with an incredible set of expectations on his broad shoulders.
During his lone season at Duke, the 6-foot-8, 285-pound freak of nature put up 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.8 blocks per game. He also wowed every time he was on the court with his high-flying dunks.
The Chicago Bulls have the best odds to win the NBA Draft Lottery (12.5% chance) and could do some special things with him on their roster. The Atlanta Hawks have the second-best odds (10.5%) and the Washington Wizards come in third (9.0%).
