The legal proceedings continue to unfold for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and on Monday he scored a huge win when a Florida judge ruled the videotape that allegedly shows he received sex acts at a day spa was obtained illegally.
Previously, Kraft had scored a minor victory with a protective order ensuring videotape was to be sealed while the legal proceedings were underway. That kept the tape away from the public eye, which is no small thing. However, this latest ruling is a much more significant boost to Kraft’s legal defense.
Kraft is due to appear in court on May 21 for a hearing in this case. He has said through a spokesperson he is not guilty after being hit with two charges of soliciting a prostitute.
