LeBron James might be playing meaningless March basketball for the first time in about 15 years. In no way does this mean the planet’s best player gives less than 100 percent on nightly basis.
With his Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Washington Wizards Tuesday night, King James proved this more than one time.
Just check out LeBron throwing down an absolutely massive dunk in transition after a beautiful football-type pass from teammate Rajon Rondo.
A huge Dallas Cowboys fan, some had previously thought James could make it in the NFL. The way he went down the court before flushing it home tells us a story of an athlete that’s still at an all-world level.
It’s not going to equate to postseason basketball for the Lakers. All the while, James has missed multiple games to injury this season.
Even then, it’s becoming apparent that the three-time NBA champ is not yet a shell of his former self. This play magnifies that big time.
