The Miami Dolphins are in desperation mode at the quarterback position after trading Ryan Tannehill to the Titans on Friday.
With that said, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick said he is interested in playing for Miami.
Reached out to source close to @Kaepernick7 and asked if he was interested in filling Miami QB vacancy. Was told “yes, he’s training hard and ready to play” could get interesting

Kaepernick is said to be training and seems legitimately determined to play again in the NFL.
Kap has not played in the league since 2016 when with the San Francisco 49ers. Since, he has drawn very little interest around the NFL following the National Anthem protests that same season.
As a result of getting snubbed by the league, Kaepernick sued the NFL over collusion. It was just in February that the NFL and Kaepernick came to a settlement on his claim.
Kap’s interest in the Dolphins, and whether they actually reach out to him, should unfold soon enough. The Dolphins currently have Jake Rudock (who?) penciled in as their starter following the Tannehill trade.
