The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be starting a new hiring trend based on this latest report. It would appear that the Buccaneers hired a former NFL official to work with head coach Bruce Arians to help him when it comes to instant replay challenges on the field.
#Bucs HC Bruce Arians said that the team hired Larry Rose, a former NFL official, to help him with instant replay challenges on game day and understanding the ever-changing NFL rules.

Note the latter about the “ever-changing NFL rules.” It seems every year that the NFL implements new rules or changes the existing ones. Now up for debate and vote will be the rule that would allow instant replays of any play in question.
This proposed rule highly stems from the no-call that happened during the NFC Championship Game that impacted the New Orleans Saints in their loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Perhaps other teams will take note of this latest hire by the Bucs and follow suit. We will see.
