Wendell Smallwood thought he had a catch in the second quarter of Sunday’s wild-card game against the Chicago Bears. Roquan Smith did not agree.
The rookie linebacker straight up stole the ball from Smallwood, ripping it right out of his arms.

He then got up and ran to the house, but ultimately the refs ruled that he was down by contact. Chicago’s ability to create takeaways was a big reason the Bears got to the playoffs in the first place. Clearly, that’s not going to change now that the postseason is upon us.
