Cody Parkey has taken some ridiculous heat for his missed field goal at the end of the Chicago Bears’ wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. But upon further review, it turns out he didn’t straight-up miss the kick. It was blocked.
Check out the following two videos that definitively show Treyvon Hester getting a paw on the potential game-winner.

Parkey was mercilessly booed off the field after the kick double-boinked off the uprights. He also had his Wikipedia page brutally altered.
In the end, while he took the miss hard himself, it sure looked like the kick would have gone in if not for the change in trajectory due to that block.
So maybe give him a break, bitter Bears fans.
