New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is out here playing the “disrespect” card. For some reason, he believes others think the Patriots are not good.
Where that came from is anyone’s guess. But Tom Terrific is definitely heading into his eighth consecutive AFC Championship Game with a Kansas City-sized chip on his shoulder.
His opponent for Sunday’s game — the Chiefs — are not having any of this. That includes head coach Andy Reid.

“This is like their eighth one in a row,” Reid said. “I don’t know how much disrespect…they’re pretty dang good.”
It’s one thing to pump yourself and your team up. It’s another thing to look like a clown in the process. Brady might have crossed that rubicon.
