Jimmy Graham will reportedly be back in Green Bay to play with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers next season, despite a disappointing 2018 campaign.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported on Tuesday that the Packers are expected to pay the $5 million roster bonus due to Graham on March 15 and be back next season.
Graham signed a lucrative contract to come to Green Bay as a free agent before the 2018 season. He never really got going, however, even when Rodgers was healthy.
All told, the pass-catching tight end finished the season with just 55 receptions for 636 yards and two touchdowns, and he suffered a broken thumb. In particular, his inability to make an impact in the red zone was a huge letdown.
The hope, of course, is that Rodgers can stay healthy all year long, and that Graham can produce at the level he’s known for in the red zone.
