It’s not yet known where impending free agent Kawhi Leonard will play the 2019-20 NBA season. The current Toronto Raptors star is in his first season up north and could very well re-sign with the Canadian club.
Though, previous reports suggested that Leonard had his eye on the glitz and glamor of Los Angeles.
If his recent purchase is any indication, that could very well come to fruition. Leonard just dropped $13.3 million on a Southern California mansion in the Rancho Santa Fe neighborhood of San Diego.

This obviously doesn’t mean that Leonard is already gearing up to sign with either the Lakers or Clippers. It’s still rather interesting.
The property itself is absolutely amazing. It includes 13,000 square feet, a dry bar, a home theater, a gourmet kitchen and two offices, per the Los Angeles Times.
For Leonard, it is a homecoming of sorts. He played two seasons of college ball at San Diego State. That could be one of the reasons he decided to head west with this extravagant purchase.
