WATCH: Russell Wilson threw hideous interception to end first half

At the end of Monday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson made a mistake of epic proportions.

With the Seahawks on the goal line, Wilson was doing what he does best, scrambling. He went to throw the ball away but didn’t throw it nearly far enough. It was picked off by Eric Kendricks.

Wilson actually got lucky. If Kendricks hadn’t slipped, he would have had a decent chance at a pick-six.

Even if Kendricks hadn’t caught it, it could have been a huge mistake, as intentional grounding could have been called. Given that Seattle didn’t have a time out, that would have been a 10-second runoff and the end of the first half.
