Rookie first-round pick Calvin Ridley has been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise lost season for the Atlanta Falcons.
Playing out the stretch Sunday against an equally pedestrian Carolina Panthers squad, Ridley continued to prove himself in every way.
Here, the rookie wide receiver connects with Matt Ryan on a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the third quarter.

It’s pretty obvious that the Panthers blew a coverage. In no way does that mean it wasn’t an impressive play from the rookie.
Ridley entered Sunday’s action with 56 receptions for nearly 700 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games. Yeah, he’s a stud.
