During the second quarter of Sunday night’s contest between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams, Avonte Maddox made an incredible play that changed the game.
Jared Goff threw off target, but the rookie had to go through quite a bit to make sure he got the ball in his possession and that it didn’t hit the ground.

The ball first careened off the hands of Josh Reynolds, then nearly bounced to the turf. But Maddox would not be denied.
This play stopped a promising drive and gave the Eagles the ball near midfield, down by one point.
