Russell Wilson is a veteran NFL quarterback. But if you only knew Wilson from this pass, we wouldn’t blame you for thinking he was an undrafted rookie.
With his Seattle Seahawks trailing 19-10 to the Los Angeles Chargers, Wilson threw a pass to the outside intended for David Moore. But Chargers defensive back, Desmond King, broke on the ball, picked it off, and cruised 42 yards for the score.

It’s hard to understand what Wilson was doing on this one.
A good pass is usually one that will either be caught by your man, or fall incomplete. This was the opposite. The best Seattle could have hoped for here was an incomplete pass. It’s certainly not the kind of mistake you’d expect from someone of Wilson’s caliber.
Los Angeles’ momentum was halted somewhat by a missed PAT (the second of the game for Caleb Sturgis). But it still put the Chargers up 25-10 late in the fourth quarter.
