Even without Kawhi Leonard in the mix Sunday evening, the Toronto Raptors took it to the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James in every possible way during a dominating first-half performance.
With the Lakers’ struggles potentially a thing of the past after defeating Portland in their last outing, some thought they’d be able to hold home court against the Raptors.
In no way did that happen. Toronto raced out to a 42-17 lead after the first quarter and had dropped 71 points at halftime.
It was a stunning overall performance from the road team. And now, it looks like the Raptors’ social media team is trolling Los Angeles in the best possible way.

The Showtime Lakers. Magic Johnson. Hollywood. Get it?
This can’t be a coincidence. The Raptors had to know what they were doing here. And in reality, it’s all sorts of brilliant.
Let’s just hope for the sake of the social media team up north, King James doesn’t pull off what would be an epic late-game comeback. On the other hand, let’s will it into existence so the Lakers can respond accordingly.
