WATCH: Allen Hurns roasts Malcolm Butler on 23-yard TD

Tennessee Titans release Malcolm Butler

The Dak Prescott to Allen Hurns connection has not taken off a whole lot this season. The Dallas Cowboys signed Hurns to be Dez Bryant’s replacement at wide receiver. And thus far, he’s been among the worst players in the NFL.

That changed Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. With Dallas down 14-7 late in the second quarter, Prescott hit Hurns on this 23-yard touchdown.

Yeah, that was struggling cornerback Malcolm Butler getting burnt on a double move by Hurns.

All he’s done since signing a lucrative free agent contract back in March is yield a 140-plus passer rating. That’s also now the sixth touchdown Butler has given up on the season.

As it relates to the Cowboys, they might now have a nice wide receiver group. Amari Cooper scored his first touchdown as a member of the team within minutes of making his debut in Dallas.
