The Buffalo Bills have reached a new low point of desperation. After ruling out rookie quarterback Josh Allen for Week 10, and with Derek Anderson also sidelined, the team will now start Matt Barkley on Sunday against the New York Jets.
Allen remains sidelined with UCL damage in his throwing elbow and Nathan Peterman’s tradition of throwing pick-sixes seemed to force Buffalo’s hand. Now the Bills must turn to a quarterback they signed on Oct. 31.
After the news broke that Barkley would start on Sunday, Twitter erupted with laughter, shock and hilarious reactions to the latest change at quarterback in Buffalo.

Matt Barkley will be the fourth different starting QB for the #Bills this season (5th if you count LeSean McCoy in Wild Cat vs. NE).
The only time the #Bills had four different starting QBs in one season since the 1970 NFL merger was in the strike season of 1987.
