On the 149th anniversary of the first college football game ever, Princeton football introduced a new logo that will be used to celebrate the 150th anniversary of that game.
Next season, on November 6 at Yankee Stadium, the Ivy League school will take on Dartmouth to commemorate that first game, which was contested against Rutgers back in 1869.

This new logo will be utilized by the Princeton football program throughout the 2019 season.
Obviously, college football has come a long, long way since that first game was played. A national institution, it accounts for billions in revenue and is a driving force of American entertainment today.
