One Tennessee Volunteers fan will remember Saturday’s blowout at the hands of Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide for reasons other than football.
As Saban walked off the field at halftime, up 42-14, a Volunteers fan threw what looked to be a cup of ice at Saban. Now, as you’re about to see here, Saban was being escorted by police at the time, so it’s hardly surprising that said fan was quickly identified and (seemingly) escorted out of the stadium.
Caught this at the end of the half. As Nick Saban goes into the tunnel, a Tennessee fan threw what appeared to be a cup full of ice in Saban's direction. Shortly after, a sheriff entered the stands and looked to have escorted the fan out of Neyland Stadium. pic.twitter.com/A8lZsyNLZl

It’s always dumb when fans throw items at players and/or coaches. Do to it when law enforcement is right there with them is just nuts.
