Just when it looked like Kyler Murray and the Sooners were going to slink back to Norman with their tails between their legs, the Heisman candidate changed the tone of the Red River Shootout with one play.
Down by two touchdowns midway through the fourth quarter, Murray found a running lane and hit the jets, roasting Texas’ defense on a 67-yard touchdown run.

This touchdown, and the extra point afterward, pulled the Sooners to within one score, with just over five minutes remaining in the game.
For his part, despite some very rough moments, Murray has piled up 362 yards and five touchdowns to keep his Sooners in this high-scoring affair.
