Just when Ohio State’s defense looked like it had an answer against Purdue, it gave up the farm. Having forced the Boilermakers into third-and-9 early in the fourth quarter, down by 15 points, the Buckeyes watched in pure terror as running back D.J. Knox romped 42 yards for a touchdown.
Purdue straight up the middle and it’s good night for the Buckeyes. https://t.co/ydA0v0MQHo

Given the way this game has gone thus far, this was in all likelihood the dagger.
Ohio State has made too many mistakes, and the quick-strike offensive capabilities of Dwayne Haskins and Co. just haven’t shown up.
Now up by the score of 28-6, it’s Purdue’s ballgame to lose.
