Manny Machado thought he had a home run Friday night in the bottom of the sixth inning.
He hit an absolute laser beam that appeared to have a chance. Not surprisingly, he didn’t hustle, opting instead to saunter down the line admiring his hit.
Then it hit the wall, and Machado was held to a single.

Just as unsurprising as his lack of effort was, the reactions on Twitter were predictable as well.
06010: “Nothing good comes from hustling.”
Manny Machado: “Allow me to put that to the test.”

If you're not going to hustle in the World Series when the hell will you? Good god, Manny.

Admire your HR as you round first for a single. My God. Pathetic. Damn run.
