The first four innings at Yankee Stadium have been very good to the Boston Red Sox in Game 3 of the ALDS against the New York Yankees.
The Red Sox led 3-0 after three. In the fourth inning, they sent 11 hitters to the plate and scored seven runs to open up a 10-0 lead.

Twitter went nuts over the Red Sox explosion. It even drew some comparisons to the last time these two teams met in the Bronx for a postseason game, Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS.
I think I saw this game once before, Kevin Brown was in the Luis Severino part, Javier Vazquez was Lance Lynn (by the way that was last #RedSox #Yankees playoff game in the Bronx b4 tonight).

But those weren’t the only responses.
Nothing better than making 50,000 fans in Yankee Stadium shut up. #RedSox #DoDamage pic.twitter.com/qX4q3tpNLW

Just out here doing some damage.
Don't mind us. pic.twitter.com/uSmoF4teAU— Red Sox (@RedSox) October 9, 2018
If this was Little League, Game 3 in the Bronx would be called. 7-spot in the 4th for #RedSox

It’s the 4 inning and every Red Sox hitters has reached 1B

The Red Sox sent 11 men to the plate and scored 7 runs in the 4th inning, which proved to be a showcase in managerial negligence.

And of course, plenty of attention turned to the Boston bullpen which has been, shall we say, shaky.

10-0 is safe for the Red Sox bullpen….. right?

Maybe. Maybe not.
I will be comfortable with a lead over the Yankees when there are no outs left in the game and the Red Sox are still ahead.
