Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen announced on Monday that the non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that he was treated for in 2009 has returned.

“I will continue to stay involved with Vulcan, the Allen Institutes, the Seahawks and Trail Blazers, as I have in the past,” Allen wrote on his website. “I have confidence in the leadership teams to manage their ongoing operations during my treatment.”
He also noted that his doctors are optimistic that he will see good results, especially considering the medical advancements since 2009.
