On the first play of Saturday’s game between Maryland and Texas, the Terrapins took a delay of game penalty as a way to honor the late Jordan McNair. Showing pure class, Tom Herman declined the penalty.
Maryland decided to send 10 players onto the field for the first offensive play in honor of Jordan McNair. The Terps made Texas aware of the plan and the Longhorns respectfully agreed to decline the penalty.

McNair, as you might know, passed away due to heat stroke in June during an outdoor workout.
