After being ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa is reportedly scheduled to receive a second opinion on his injured foot.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the 23-year-old is scheduled to visit foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson next week for a second opinion on Bosa’s bone bruise.

Bosa was spotted in a walking boot at practice on Friday and it now appears increasingly likely a one-week absence could extend into a multi-week absence.
In just two seasons with the Chargers, Bosa has had a tremendous impact on their defense. He recorded 12.5 sacks and four forced fumbles in 2017 and made his first Pro Bowl. A talented Chargers’ defense continues to take hits before the season has even started.
