On the same day that they were forced to place Davon House on injured reserve, the Green Bay Packers might have actually found an upgrade at cornerback.
According to multiple media reports, the Packers have signed former Washington Redskins standout Bashaud Breeland.

Breeland, if you remember, had signed a lucrative free agent deal with the Carolina Panthers back in March. Unfortunately, he failed his physical and was forced back to the free agent market. Since then, he’s taken on multiple visits around the league.
The 26-year-old former fourth-round pick from Clemson showed out in a big way in D.C. last season, racking up 47 tackles and a whopping 19 passes defended. He was legitimately the top remaining free agent on the market after Week 3.
Green Bay hopes that Breeland’s presence helps improve a pass defense that’s yielded a 103.1 quarterback rating on the young season.
