The Arizona Cardinals’ offense scuffled in the early going of Sunday’s preseason game vs. the Dallas Cowboys. But thanks to the special teams and defense, Arizona still found ways to score.
The first score came on, of all things, a punt. Dallas’ return man, Lance Lenoir, mishandled the punt and fumbled it backwards into the end zone. Trent Sherfield came up with the ball for the score.

Then Patrick Peterson got in on the action. Cowboys’ quarterback Cooper Rush telegraphed his pass a little too much. Peterson stepped up for the pick and cruised into the end zone for the score.
That's a @P2 PICK…

The Arizona defense and special teams players and coaches will certainly like seeing that on the film. On the other hand, Dallas’ offensive and special teams units have some work to do.
