When the Chicago Bears kick the 2018 regular season off against the Green Bay Packers, they’ll be without cornerback Deiondre’ Hall.
Adam Schefter reported on Monday that Hall will be suspended for Week 1, after “violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.”

This certainly isn’t good news for the Bears or Hall.
Hall missed most of the 2017 season with an injury, playing in only two games late in the season. While he’ll still have a chance to have a big 2018, this certainly isn’t how he wanted his third NFL season to start.
Chicago, meanwhile, figures to have its secondary depth tested in a big way against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
