The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without Jameis Winston for three games to open the 2018 NFL season, and they’re already preparing that way.
Tampa opened camp Thursday, and PewterReport shared a video of Ryan Fitzpatrick taking the No. 1 reps.

Bucs fans had been wondering aloud whether Winston would still see No. 1 reps despite his suspension. It seemed the popular conclusion was Fitzpatrick needed the work because of how challenging the initial competition will be.
Tampa’s first three contests are against the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. If Fitzpatrick isn’t prepared, that’s an 0-3 start waiting to happen.
Winston will likely be back under center for the Bucs once available during the regular season, but he might spend most of training camp preparing as a backup.
