Marcus Smart is returning to the Boston Celtics. The guard has agreed to a four-year contract worth $52 million.
Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports revealed the terms of the deal, which is close to the initial reported numbers.

Smart will serve as an integral piece off the bench, providing acceptable offense and elite defense for a loaded roster.
The Oklahoma State product will be a secondary ball-handler. Smart dished 4.8 assists per game, the highest output of his four-year career. He also nabbed 1.3 steals.
Boston should be finished making its biggest offseason signings, though it’s possible the organization makes a few moves to duck below the luxury tax.
