WATCH: Giancarlo Stanton hits hardest HR of 2018 so far

Giancarlo Stanton

On Wednesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, Giancarlo Stanton hit an absolute laser-shot home run in the 13th inning that left the stadium almost as soon as it left his bat.

This homer ended up being clocked at 119.3 miles per hour, and it had a ridiculous 15 degree launch angle, getting no higher than 45 feet off the turf.

According to David Adler of MLB.com, this was the hardest-hit home run of the entire 2018 MLB season so far.

Though, we shouldn’t be surprised. Stanton has unbelievable power, and he has a habit of hitting these types of laser beams out of the park.
