Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett is a freaky athlete. Anyone who watched him in college could tell you that, and his performance during the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine was legendary.
That said, it was pretty stunning when defensive coordinator Gregg Williams divulged Thursday that Garrett is such a physical specimen that he was running with the Browns’ receivers and defensive backs during conditioning this spring.
#Browns defensive coordinator Gregg Williams effusive in praise for Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward both on & off the field. Impressed how both were accepted by teammates so quickly. Mentioned Garrett is such physical specimen he ran w/ WRs & DBs during conditioning

Let’s not forget that Garrett is 6-foot-4 and roughly 275 pounds. He’s just an otherworldly athlete who has the ability to do things at that size that are almost too crazy to believe. Except we’ve seen those abilities shine through, time and time again (like this).
During his rookie season, Garrett certainly showed he’s capable of playing at an elite level. He played in 11 games, starting nine of them, tallying 31 tackles, seven sacks, one forced fumble and a recovery.
