As Lamar Jackson prepares for the coming NFL Draft, the former Heisman winner worked out with Dan Marino and the Miami Dolphins in South Beach on Friday. It’s one of the final visits Jackson will take prior to the annual event later this month in Dallas.
Though, it’s now looking like the Baltimore Ravens are getting in on the action. According to MMQB’s Albert Breer, Baltimore has set up a visit with Jackson. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport responded to the report by noting that the Ravens are indeed a “sneaky” landing spot for Jackson.
This is true. The #Ravens are a sneaky team for Lamar Jackson… https://t.co/WUyMW1RTxr

Fresh off signing Robert Griffin III earlier in the week, some thought that Baltimore might very well look in another direction come draft time. The team pretty much put an end to that conversation following the signing of RGIII, indicating that they’re still in the market for a quarterback (more on that here).
Griffin III was brought in on a low-risk, one-year contract. Meanwhile, starting quarterback Joe Flacco has struggled a great deal each of the past three seasons. It makes sense that Baltimore might want to look to the future under center. The team selects 16th overall in this month’s draft.
