Baseball season is back, and Denver Post is excited to share the excitement of Colorado Rockies baseball at Coors Field. The only problem is that the newspaper seems to have forgotten what the stadium looks like.
Nick Penzenstadler of USA Today shared a picture of the Post‘s guide to Coors Field, and the main image is actually Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.
.@denverpost, I love you guys… but this seems to be a rather LARGE photo error in your Rockies guide. That stadium…. is Citizens Bank in Philly pic.twitter.com/Oycs87K1P7

The Phillies’ social team took full advantage of the opportunity.
What a lovely photo of Citizens Bank Park.
Right, @denverpost? 😉 https://t.co/CHV1mC4Gr2

The Post soon responded, citing a production error for the mistake.
Due to a production error, an image of Citizens Bank Park ran in place of Coors Field on the cover of today's Life & Culture section. Please enjoy this beautiful image of Coors Field photographed yesterday. The Denver Post sincerely regrets the error. pic.twitter.com/0bwW2snOLb

The home opener for the Rockies is Friday afternoon against the Atlanta Braves.
Hopefully, everyone who read the Coors Field guide and plans to attend the game at the stadium is already familiar with the park. Otherwise, a small group of fans is headed for quite a surprise upon arrival.
