This is an interesting turn of events. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, cornerback Patrick Robinson, who had an excellent 2017 campaign with the Philadelphia Eagles, is expected to return to his former New Orleans Saints team.
This is a surprise: #Eagles CB Patrick Robinson, due to be a free agent in 2 hours, is expected to sign a 4-year deal with the #Saints. Back where it all began.

Robinson was a first-round pick by the Saints in 2010 and played with the team through 2014. He then spent one year with the Chargers and then the next season with the Indianapolis Colts.
After a fabulous Super Bowl-winning season in Philly, it was somewhat assumed he would re-sign with the Eagles. Last year saw Robinson record 45 combined tackles, one sack, 18 defended passes and four interceptions.
This takes Robinson back to his Saints roots and will team him up with reigning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Marshon Lattimore at cornerback in New Orleans.
