On Monday at the NFL’s Annual Meeting, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman addressed the Michael Bennett situation. Bennett turned himself in to police, per NJ.com, after being charged with injuring a 66-year-old paraplegic woman after Super Bowl LI.
The Eagles recently made a trade with the Seattle Seahawks to acquire the veteran defensive end, and he confirmed previous reports that the team had not heard anything about it until Friday.

Roseman also stressed that Bennett is, “innocent until proven guilty.”
Bail was set Monday at $10,000 in this case. If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $10,000 and up to 10 years in prison, per NBC 10 in Philadelphia.
