Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors will face off against his former Oklahoma City Thunder team on Tuesday night. It’s just the second meeting between the two squads this season. And it goes without saying a lot of the pregame talk will surround Durant.
In answering questions Tuesday afternoon, Durant hilariously turned the tables on one of the reporters.
Reporter: Do you think you're going to text or talk with any of the (Thunder) guys when they're in town?
Durant: I got a question. Like, why do you care so much? pic.twitter.com/40roMNhjTd

That’s just brilliant.
Despite his highly dramatic exit from Oklahoma City, we’re pretty sure Durant still has some friends on that team. What does it matter if he’s talking to them ahead of Tuesday’s game?
It’s this type of Q&A that has turned NBA players against the media in recent years. If Durant had answered yes to that question, how would anything have changed? If he had answered no, would there be some narrative that there’s still some bold blood? Who really cares?
