The Carolina Panthers thought they were going to go up 3-0 after engineering a decent drive in the first quarter. Then kicker Graham Gano missed a chip-in field goal. Two plays later, Drew Brees found Ted Ginn deep down the middle.
After breaking a tackle, Ginn was gone. He went 80 yards to the house to put the Saints up 7-0.

This was the longest play the Panthers had allowed all season long.
They don’t have a ton of wiggle room to begin with against the Saints, who beat them twice in the regular season. This turn of events could be very costly, indeed.
