It’s not yet known whether he will back up Case Keenum in Sunday’s playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, but the Minnesota Vikings have officially activated quarterback Sam Bradford off injured reserve.
QB Sam Bradford has been activated to the 53-man roster.
We have waived TE Kyle Carter.

Bradford has not played since Week 5 due to a knee injury and has seen action in only two games this season. By activating him from IR, the Vikings will more than likely make Bradford active for Sunday’s game.
He could join Teddy Bridgewater as the two quarterbacks behind Keenum on the depth chart. Having three quarterbacks active on game day is a rarity in today’s NFL.
Minnesota takes on the Saints at home Sunday evening with a trip to the NFC Championship Game on the line.
