Blake Bortles had a fairly decent season, but we knew it was only a matter of time before bad Blake showed up. Well, we’re seeing it happen in the first half of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Wild Card Game against the Buffalo Bills.
During one sequence in particular, Bortles missed badly on two straight easy throws that would have extended a drive. To this point in the game he’s completed just 4-of-9 passes for 16 yards, and the Jaguars are locked into a 0-0 game.
Not surprisingly, Twitter came out in force to take shots at the oft-awful quarterback.

Early in the season, Blake completely halted all offensive momentum when asked to throw the football. It improved a bit as the season went along.
…but it's back so far today.

I think the Blaketanic would miss the iceberg today.

Jaguars offense is so neutered at QB, it’s maddening they're willing to commit to mediocrity.
Imagine wearing flip flops while trying to run a sprint. Sure, you might win a few because someone false starts or blows a hammy, but you’re wearing flip flops.
Bortles is flip flops.

Alex Smith could lead this Jacksonville team to the Super Bowl. Wonder if he ends up here next season.

Are we really gonna get bad Blake today pic.twitter.com/4i8kd65DXk

Goodness, we’re knee-deep into the 2nd quarter and neither offense has crossed midfield. Makes the Broncos offense look like the run-n-shoot. #BUFvsJAX pic.twitter.com/JE6XFhNmOw

Yeah, it’s been fun.
