Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles did not get off to a great start Saturday at home against the Atlanta Falcons. On the game’s first offensive possession, the quarterback had Torrey Smith streaking wide open (just like Foles said would happen) down the right sideline.
Foles read it perfectly but threw the worst duck this scribe has ever seen.
Nick Foles goes DEEP on the first play of the game.
And draws a PI penalty. #ATLvsPHI https://t.co/yhBruWNNpq

The Eagles were bailed out by a pass interference penalty, but one play later Jay Ajayi fumbled the ball away, giving Atlanta the ball.
Twitter had some pretty funny reactions to Foles’ lame duck.
that pi ball further proves my point that nick foles is bad joe flacco

This fumble is Foles’ fault because he underthrew Smith for TD on previous play. #ATLvsPHI pic.twitter.com/a86h5MWOrv

If you think your QB has a bad deep ball, do not watch a replay of that Nick Foles pass interference play

I don't have to choose between watching football and going duck hunting With Foles playing, I can do both #FlyEaglesFly
