Since his injury, Wentz has still been very much involved with the team. He has fortunately been present at the Eagles’ last two games to work with quarterback Nick Foles.
Foles discussed how much Wentz’s support means to the team.
“The relationship just continues to grow,” Foles said, per Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports. “Obviously, there’s been some great adversity this year that he’s gone through, the team’s gone through. But Carson, specifically, just the way he’s handled it has been amazing. His support for this team, for me personally whether it’s in our meeting room, in walkthroughs, in practice, during the game, it’s been outstanding.”
Wentz’s perseverance is to be commended. He is the ideal definition of a team player who is not letting his injury bring the Eagles down.
As the Eagles prepare to play in Super Bowl LII, it is awesome at the same time Wentz is making great strides in his recovery process.
