Julio Jones running wide open in the end zone is the kind of thing that the Atlanta Falcons dream of. But on Sunday, that very scenario turned into a nightmare.
Trailing 20-10 to the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons elected to go for it. Somehow, Jones got completely free. Even more stunning, Jones couldn’t come up with the gimme catch.

In truth, it’s only fitting. Very little about the 2017 NFL season has made any sense. One of the NFL’s best receivers dropping a touchdown like that only makes sense.
